PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Bill began his career at Comsource Technical Service assigned to Tippins Incorporated, Pittsburgh, PA, as a contract programmer working on development of the business systems. When the project was completed he was hired by Tippins Incorporated as Management Information Systems Manager responsible for programming and developing all business software including design, implementation and administration of Local Area Network, design and development of new systems and reports as well as enhancing and maintaining existing systems. While at Tippins he also managed the General Ledger of the parent company and five (5) subsidiaries. When Tippins formed a joint venture, SMS Demag Tippins, LLC, he became a Level 2 Electrical Engineer, engineering software applications needed for running rolling mills for both the steel and aluminum industry. Experience included creating Human Machine Interface (HMI) to run and view status of the mill. Developed a database for history reporting in Microsoft SQL. Developed software in C# to assist field engineers by allowing them to view the tracking of the product through the mill. Produced all of the documentation for the software developed.
